The Emotions We Struggle to Access Through the Lens of the Enneagram - Samantha Mackay
Discover more about BAPT and our upcoming 2026 International Type Conference in Oxford at: https://www.personality-type.uk/ Webinar overview: One element of improving our emotional intelligence is to become more familiar with our own emotions, particularly, those we accept and those we push away. Through the lens of the Enneagram, we see that each Enneagram Type struggles to accept at least one of the four core emotions - anger, sadness, fear and happiness. Through this lens we learn why we avoid them and how we can practice accepting them. With greater access to all our emotions, we have more compassion for ourselves, for others and can be more present in all our interactions. With practice, accepting all our emotions improves our Emotional Intelligence. About the presenter: Samantha is a certified Enneagram coach, teacher and philosopher. She started studying with Beatrice Chestnut and Uranio Paes in 2021 and continues to do so. She helps people practically apply the Enneagram to their inner work, taking it beyond the theory to create lasting change in their health, careers and relationships. She is an experienced facilitator with an engaging and interactive approach.
