Registration is open

We are excited to announce that registration for the BAPT annual conference is open. The conference will take place on Saturday 5th April 2025.

Save the date!

BAPT are also delighted to be co-hosting a European conference with CfL - Centre for Leadership – in Copenhagen on 13-14 June 2025. CfL is a not-for-profit leadership development organisation whose purpose is to raise the quality of leadership through professional development training. We are in perfect alignment!

We are currently accepting submissions to present at this conference. We would love to hear from you.

Membership Renewals 2024-25

BAPT is introducing a new way for Members to renew their membership by credit/debit card or Paypal.

The new payment process also applies to Corporate Members who have received an invoice to pay.

​​

Members and Corporate Members can renew their membership by purchasing a membership plan.​​

New Website

What do I need to know?

  • This new website launched in early February 2024. 

  • The new website address is https://www.personality-type.uk/. It is recommended to use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge web browser to view the website. There is a known issue with the Wix website platform and Apple Safari web browsers in which logos and images do not properly load on the website. 

  • The old website was discontinued from 1 May 2024.

  • BAPT members are no longer able to access their account on the old website.

  • There was an official launch of the new website at the BAPT Conference on 18 April 2024.

  • New memberships should be requested on the new website only.

  • New events taking place after 1 February 2024 will be published on this website only.

  • All current BAPT memberships will be due for renewal on 1 October 2024.

    • BAPT members will receive a notification and a payment link before 1 October 2024 reminding them to renew their annual membership. 

    • Payment can be made by debit/credit card or PayPal.

    • BAPT members who currently pay by standing order can continue to do so. Standing order arrangements are unaffected by the changes.

    • Membership renewals will automatically renew on 1 October 2025. We will process the renewal using the registered debit/credit card or Paypal account. Members can amend their payment method or cancel their membership at any time. 

  • There is limited content on the new website. Over the next weeks and months we will add more content from our archive of content going back to 1989! We will keep you updated as and when new content is added to the website.

  • Members and non-members can use the ‘Get in touch with us’ functionality on the new website to contact us. You can also email BAPT board members.

What do I need to do?

  • BAPT members should create a new account on this new website with immediate effect.

  • BAPT e-news subscribers do not need to do anything. You will continue to receive our e-Newsletter. 

  • To create an account, click on the ‘Log In’ icon on the top right hand corner of the website.

  • Sign up for a new account. 

  • Once you have created an account, we will add your membership profile to your account.

  • You will also receive an email within 24 hours confirming that your account registration is successful.

  • ​Log in to your account.

  • ​Browse the website and member area to familiarise yourself with the account settings and content. Add a profile photo, say something about yourself etc.

  • Click the down facing arrow next to your name on the top right hand corner of the website.

  • You will see a menu to view or edit your Profile, Membership, Account, Notifications, Settings, and Log Out. View 'Account' to see the membership restricted content available to you.

  • Members can also access their account using the BAPT mobile app. Download the BAPT app from the Spaces: Follow Businesses by Wix app to your phone for on-the-go access to BAPT content.​

  • ​​The BAPT app is available to paying members only because content is restricted to paying members only. 
  • The BAPT app is a dedicated app for BAPT members to easily engage and stay updated with the BAPT site on the go. Members can connect with the community, read announcements, access resources, and register for events.

  • The BAPT app is free to use and can be downloaded from the relevant app stores.

  • Members should download the Spaces: Follow Businesses by Wix app right to their phone using these links. The BAPT app is hosted on the Spaces: Follow Businesses by Wix platform. 

  • ​Go to the Apple App Store (on the iPhone) or Google Play (on Android).

  • Type ‘Spaces' in the Search field.

  • ​Click Get or Install 'Spaces: Follow Businesses' to download the app to your mobile phone.​

  • Open the Spaces: Follow Businesses by Wix app.

  • Tap the Search bar (Find sites to join) 

  • Enter ‘BAPT’ in the Search bar (Find sites to join)​

  • Tap Join.

  • Your request to join will be pending for a few moments to a few hours while we check that you are a paying member.

  • Once approved you’ll have full access to the BAPT app.

  • You can view the following content in your BAPT website account and in the BAPT app:​​

    • BAPT website: Your Profile, Events, TypeFace (latest edition), TypeFace Archive. Networking, forums, live chats.  

    • BAPT app: Announcements, Events, Resources, Membership (Join BAPT), Groups.

  • Complete the type practitioner registration form if you would like to be listed as a certified type practitioner on BAPT’s type practitioner registration list.

  • Please familiarise yourself with our membership terms and conditions and privacy policy.
