Volunteer with BAPT

BAPT is a small, not-for-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers. From the Board of Trustees, to webinar presenters, workshop facilitators, managing social media, organising meetings and events, managing our finances, partnering with international type associations, links to business, editing our newsletter, managing memberships, use of digital technology, everyone here dedicates their time on a volunteer basis. That’s why, to continue our work, we rely on help from people like you.

We welcome people to join our volunteering team for ongoing or one-off initiatives. These include things such as:

• Contributing to our newsletter

• Writing articles for our flagship magazine, TypeFace

• Volunteering at in-person events

• Helping to do day-to-day tasks and administration

• Help out with the organisation of the annual conference

• Bring your specialist skills e.g. editing videos, social media management, graphic design, etc..

• Co-curation of type articles, books, information and type websites

• Developing type content

• Facilitating workshops

• Presenting a topic at a type webinar… and more!
