About the event
In partnership with AusAPT (Australia), TypeLAB (Japan), AFTP (France), and APT International, BAPT is working towards a 24-hour “around-the-clock, around-the-world” virtual type event.
We plan to hold this pioneering global event on and around Saturday, 18 April 2026. It will comprise three consecutive blocks, each of 8 hours, hosted in turn by AusAPT and TypeLAB (Asia Pacific); BAPT and AFTP (UK and Europe); and APT International (Americas).
For British-based participants, Type Around the Clock events will run from 1:00am Saturday to 1:00am Sunday. In UK time, the three sessions hosted by BAPT and AFTP (France) will run from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
Wherever you may be in the world, you’ll be welcome to join any or all of the sessions.
We will be offering nine sessions – three in each of the 8-hour blocks –showcasing the rich diversity of type around the world.
