Deborah’s journey into wine didn't just start with a glass, it started with a challenge. As the former Secretary of the Oxford University Wine Circle, she spent her nights organising global tastings and her weekends competing in the high-stakes world of blind tasting against Cambridge.
By day, Deborah was a facilitator for OPP Ltd, specializing in the MBTI®. In 2006, she had a "lightbulb moment": the realization that our personality types dictate exactly how we experience wine. This research birthed her signature MBTI & Wine Tasting experience, a unique fusion of psychology and sensory analysis.
Today, Deborah has moved beyond the glass and into the soil. With WSET qualifications and a recent MSc in Sustainability Leadership, she balances winemaking in Portugal with the restoration of a heritage vineyard in Oxford. Whether she’s exploring the high altitudes of Armenia or the valleys of Chile, Deborah is on a mission to showcase wines that are as sustainable as they are soulful.
