John Hackston

Psychological Safety and Psychological Type:
A Perfect Match?

Psychological safety is the belief that it is safe to take interpersonal risks in a team. Type explains our different gifts, but psychological safety allows these to function without distortion or fear. We'll explore psychological safety and show how this relates to an individual’s type, with exercises and practical guidelines.

A Chartered Psychologist, John has been a MBTI® practitioner since 1997 and is Director of Research for BAPT. He works to bring personality, particularly type and the MBTI® framework, to life, helping clients apply these insights both inside and outside work.
